I think if I was famous the best part would be the fact that you could constantly re-invent yourself. Below, Ashley Olsen looks like a completely different version of her self. I personally like the blonde Ashley better, but I think its amazing how someone else can see her and actually make her look nothing like herself....she sort of looks like a old Parisian ...Very cool. I am now in need of a make over I think!

Just A Bite

Amy Atlas was once campaigning and practicing law and now is one of the most "it" event planners in NYC. Her dessert tables are both literally and figuratively edible! Her innovative and over the top dessert "art pieces" have been featured in everything from Martha Stewart Living to Food & Wine to about every Wedding Mag you can get your hands on and I,like I am sure anyone else who sees this little pics will be, am hooked!

*P.S. I am willing to bet you can't just have "a bite" of anything on any of these tables!*

Personally, I think this type of clothing is the new face of fashion . Clothes that are relevant and make you feel trend-setting, but do not break the bank. Gone are the times of spending $200 on a shirt you are going to wear once....ummm yes I am admitting I have done that :) I love these little band skirts. They look super similar to the $800 the Herve Leger band skirts and you can give yourself a little pat on the back for looking just as chic and having only spent 1/10th of the cost.

Please tell me that you remember Jem and the Holograms?? Jem was pretty much the alter ego of Barbi. Her hair was hot-pink and she could transform herself from a boring blonde just by squeezing her shiny star earrings. She was amazing :) haha. Anyway, this Chelsea dress by Whitley Kros both reminds me of her hair color and I might even picture her wearing it after she squeezed that star earring!

Red Xs

I must be feeling inspired today, but I love this quote :) My only and favorite lil sister once wrote and sang a song called Red Xs. The song was about the days on the calendar that she would cross off until she could see the person she loved at the time. I loved it and thought it was so perfect...that anticipation of seeing someone while constantly crossing off the days as if they are just bench markers. This quote reminded me of her singing that song.....
