Sugarplum Fairy

I was once again searching for art on etsy and came across these delectable little pieces. AFancifulTwist makes everything from postcards to canvas prints and I am in love with these images. They are young & sweet, but slightly edgy. They remind me of the Sugarplum Fairies in my 5th grade Nutcracker Play. How cute would 6 or 8 of these be in a bathroom?

*P.S. I kinda still wish I could be a sugarplum fairy in that nutcracker play btw :)

Say What You Will

Say what you will about Olivia Palermo's personality but you have got to give it to her....the girl can dress. She does a perfect job of pairing pieces that you would never think she would wear from....GASP "mall stores" with vintage and high end pieces. She works in Armani Exchange with $1200 latex leggings and makes it look pretty flawless. Typically, when someone has a horrific personality I tend to not be able to look past it to be able to see their style. For example, I rarely speak of Jessica Alba or Megan Fox....they are gorgeous and wear great clothes but I can not stand to hear them speak therefore, I don't think they should be recognized for they clothing! I know ridiculous! Anyway, although she is right up there with Alba and Fox her outfits surpass her person. So take a look below!

P.S. If you ever watched the City you would be obsessed with her closet! I think it should be mandatory that we all get at least one walk in closet with a chandelier inside in our life time! Even if our whole house is the closet it might be worth it!

Sinful Snake Skin

So there are some items that if we are truly honest with ourselves.....that little voice inside is probably right. I mean do we really need a pair of snake skin flats?? That little rational angel voice in our heads would probably say no....however sometimes I think it pays to listen to that other little fun voice that says "YES! I absolutely positively NEED a pair of snakeskin slides!" I mean come on these little jewels are sure to be the hit of every little back yard bbq you are attending and I am convinced that they are worth it.

*P.S. Hello put these with a little white or black sundress with some gold jewelry....guaranteed dime status!

Suede in the Summer

Who says you cant wear traditionally "fall items" in the summer? I think the concept that you can only wear items during specific seasons is dated. Hello.... who in this economy has shoes and ensembles for every other weather change?? Not me! The girl below is rocking her suede boots in the middle of June in NY. She is featured on Elle's street chic and I am pretty obsessed with her look. Cant you picture her just strolling around Manhattan in her light and airy little frock?!
