Channeling

If you were ever a Britney fan in any sense of the word, even if that means you simply appreciate how amazing she looked in 2000 and 2001, you will remember the lace number she wore to the VMAs. This Victorian Lace dress from Nightcap Clothing, a new fav line of mine, channels that Britney red carpet outfit like I have never seen. Bottom line is I need it! There is a distinct possibility that it could have a little too much "hollywood blvd" in it when you actually put the garment on, but I am going to go with it. I need it for something immediately :)

Glam Squad

I am pretty in love with this pic. Her blond is the perfect shade and the accessories are working for me. I was a little bit concerned as to why this girl was sitting in the dirt with people about to step on her, but regardless if she meant to be sitting there or this was after a drunken fall she looks pretty glamorous doing it!

Guilty as Charged

I was once accused of throwing a very similar fedora to the one pictured below into the middle of the street because I had such a distaste for it......but I think its time for me to eat my words! I am pretty obsessed with everything about this fedora. I love the shape of it and the simple ribbon gives it a little feminine touch on a usually considered masculine item. I guess this time I have to admit I might have been wrong....sometimes a fedora works! :)

*P.S. I might have had a few glasses of champagne when I "supposedly threw the hat into traffic" it wasn't a completely crazy thing to do :)

Bellman Please!

If you ever have ever read any of my previous posts or ever really met me you know that I am obsessed with hotels. Firmdale Hotels are primarily in London, but yesterday they opened their first New York Hotel in SoHo fittingly called the Crosby Street Hotel and it is absolutely impeccable in every way. It is seconds away from anywhere you would ever want to shop, eat or gaze at longingly and I am pretty sure I just found my next justification for buying those not needed tickets to NY. Vanity Fair called it " the most prestigious thoroughfare in the neighborhood - all cast iron and cobblestones, slightly off the beaten track, lined with independent boutiques". Are you kidding me Reservations Please!!

*P.S. Maybe they will let me live there for a couple of months?

Definition of Adorable

OK if you were like me you were obsessed with everything that was "Felicity" even after she cut off all of that ridiculously pretty curly hair. When the show was cancelled I was a little embarrassingly sad, but Keri Russell somehow continued to be nothing but adorable long after the show. You see her in the lime light just enough to be reminded how subtle and pretty she is and I am currently obsessing over these shots of her in InStyle Mag. :)

**P.S. Her hair is perfection and I need that cashmere scarf desperately!

Sashimi Anyone?

So I am pretty aware that the only food this woman eats is one piece of Ahi tuna in the morning, however I am currently wishing I was as put together as she always seems to be. I am especially loving her current duel Elle Covers! Thoughts???

Not Typical

I was perusing another blog that I love Cotedetexas.blogspot.com and I had to share the images below. This is the inside of a home in Houston, Texas and is not at all my typical decorating style, however I am in love with it! First and foremost they used the Kelly Wearstler signature grey trellis fabric on the chairs, which I am currently figuring out some way to have in any facet of my home. Secondly, the color of the wood is so serene it looks so cozy, and the room can easily transition into each season and look practically perfect. I love love it :) Don't you???!!

She is diverse and edgy while keeping her looks simple and easy on the eyes. My BFF shares the first name of Aimee and I think maybe simple loveliness might just come from the name : )

I Died!

It is possible that you have missed that I am literally obsessed with Jonathan Adler so I need to mention it again. Jonathan Adler is ridiculously perfect. I didn't think it could get better and then I stumbled upon this gem of a find this morning! Jonathan Adler now allows you to create your own pillows and rugs. You can choose from different patterns, colors, monograms, textures, sizes and just about anything else you can think of. A year a so ago I bought the Jonathan Adler Mansard Rug and although it definitely dented my wallet it was by far the best home investment I have ever made.
