Alright so even if you say you dont watch The City on MTV....I know that you do, but what I do not know is if you have noticed the insane Bergdorf Goodman Restaurant featured on the show that is actually my favorite character of them all. The girls tend to meet there when discussing someone cheating on someone else, but I became less concered about these girls and their cheating boyfriends and more about the insane backgrounds they were having these convos in. This restaurant is designed by one of my favs Kelly Wearstler, please note her name, i guarantee you she has designed any hotel in LA or NY that has been in any magazine or tv show in the last 5 years. She is a genius!!!

Classics

Vince is one of those brands that is so classic. I have so many pieces that I have collected over the years and they keep their shape and dont go out of style....however on my current budget $395 for a "classic" sweater is hard to justify. Ok fine $395 on any budget really shouldnt be justified. The great thing about Vince, however is that it does go on sale! METALLICA

So this season is all about Metallics according to ELLE...which by the way "according to ELLE" means according to "what matters". Anyway.. so first I was just going to post these pics because I liked them, then I noticed the Preen dress which I had seen on Mandy Moore in black a few months ago and loved. The best part of the outfit was her METALLIC CHRISTIANS!!! I am feverioushly searching for these and have yet to find them, but I am pretty sure you would feel as if you were floating while wearing these little disco balls of heaven.
The second pic features an oversized Silver Metallic Coach bag, which I wanted to note because if anyone else has noticed....Coach is stepping up their game lately and I believe purse improvement is something that should always be noted :) hhehe! Break out your shining bedazzled accessories quickly girls!!

Denim Heaven

So sometimes when I think of Jean Jackets I cant help but think of the GAP and Khaki. Its hard to get past the part of them that makes you sure you should be pairing a pair of brown loafers, or something horrific with them. However, lately I have admitedly seen two that I like at both Bloomingdales (Citizens of Humanity) and Nordstroms (William Rast). Both the exact right wash and the sleeves stopped short enough to be able to roll up to your elbow. They look perfect over a dress, with a skirt or a pair of black skinnies. I think they are good staple, just stay away from pairing these little numbers with anything that someone on 7th Heaven might have worn and your probably safe :)

Barely Mint

Below are some of my Oscar Favs. I dont think any of these really translate well in the pictures, but if you watched you were for sure wow'd by some of these as well. Sarah Jessica Parker's Barely Mint Couture Dior was ridiculous and as always Natalie Portman was pure perfection. I havent really loved any of Angelina's choices this award season but those earrings and ring were possibly chipped away from the Emerald City walls. Happy Looking!

Where do you wear this?

Ok so sometimes the fashion gods i.e. Elle, Vogue,W etc give us a little taste of what they think are key spring or fall looks. They are always over the top (please note the scene in Devil Wears Prada when she doesnt know the difference between the two turqouise belts) and not necessarily wearable right off the page, but they give us ideas! Miss Lima was featured in Elle's Spring looks. They suggested combining lingerie with sport. I cant say that these exact looks are affordable, actually wearable, or would look like even remotely like they do on her....however I think they are inspiring. My fav is the bra she is wearing with the oversized trousers.....maybe cause its the only thing thats under $300 (Victoria Secret $68)! Anyway enjoy!

I was flipping thru the new Bazaar for March, which by the way the cover is Sarah Jessica Parker and her dress and manolos are to die for...anyway so the very last page is "What is IN and What is OUT". My first issue with it was that it said "kitten heels" were out & umm... hello kitten heels are ALWAYS OUT, but on second glance I noticed that chunky jewels are in this season. Bazaar featured the b & w Tory Burch cuffs below, which I absolutely love so it prompted me to take a look at all her new jewelry this season. There are some must haves including this watch brand bracelet that would look good stacked with a few lighter bracelets or all by its lonesome!

Just Because....

I am not sure if you have ever heard of Rodney Smith, but his photography is amazing. He is a celebrated photographer and has work in important art galleries across the world as well places that arent so important (which makes him feel like some sort of special secret). He has several books, but his newest edition is called "The End" and I want a copy immediately! Something about his photos are chilling, but festive and the colors are ridiculous....take a look!

Ok so the fact that I am pretty much obsessed with all things William Rast could have a little to do with that anything Mr. Timberlake touches is INSANE.....however standing alone William Rast definitely has items to take note of. I have three pairs of the jeans and they are comfortable and effortless and the wash is exactly what you want it to be. Monday night William Rast debuted its Spring 2009 line at NY fashion week and it is already available online. Here are few pics from the show....which I need to attend at some point in my life, as well as a couple of items that might be must haves. Justin Timberlake pretty much can do anything he wants these days so I am curious when he is going to decide to dump Jessica and find me!

Can I Just Be Young and Fabulous?

I can't say that I am a major fan of this entire brand, but if your looking for a fun t-shirt that is funky and adds a little something to your outfit....Young Fabulous & Broke is probably the way to go. This new Kate Moss is my fav. I love the blue and plus I kinda like the idea that these days you can be Young, Fabulous and still be BROKE! :)
