Again You Are Right!

My mother has the uncanny ability to know what is "it" before "it" even knows it is "it" (that was a complicated sentence but you catch my drift). She is always in the know and for a long time I fought the notion that she could possible ALWAYS know what she was talking about, but I think I have to concede. A couple of months ago she took up knitting and if you know my mother you understand that I practically passed out. She calmly responded with you will see. Ladies & gentleman I give you..... Can I Live in this Jacket?? No Seriously Though?!

So this Helmut Lang perfectly grey padded leather jacket is a dream! The issue with it is that it is pretty much the same as my rent these days. My question to you is could I skip the rent and just live in the jacket????? It might be worth it.....homeless but insanely chic'ed out!

Summer Lov'n

OK so I get about a million updates from various online shopping websites....they are probably the death of my wallet, however I love getting the little updates daily. Today, I got this Summer Treat email from TopShop.com! With every purchase you get one of the cute little beach bags below and I think they are super cute. I went on TopShop to see what I need in order to get one of these fun little summer must-haves and I happened to find a few little items that would justify getting the free treat as well as a new accessory or two! To Hot For A Stove Pipe

So right now I am sitting in Southern California and I might as well be in the Florida!! It is hot and muggy and no ocean breeze to speak of. With the current state of the heat wave I am aware that a pair of knee high Stove Pipe Grey Dolce Vita boots are not the first choice of footwear, however I think these might be the buy of the summer! Add these to your shopping cart at only $182 and I think it will be super exciting when this weather gets under control to pair over your favorite dark jeans with a creamy white swear. To die for! Do not attempt to wear these before the weather permits....I have visions of me putting this outfit together in 90 degree weather and humidity and ripping it all off before I get out the door hhahaha not good!

Juxtaposition is both one of my favorite words and one of my favorite home stores on the planet. I am telling you, walk into this store and you instantly want to bring home every piece they sell. The fabrics are to die for and the over sized furniture is a-m-a-z-i-n-g! The other day I stopped by Juxtaposition and at the door next to a huge bin of over-sized pillows (another one of my all time favorite things) was a chalk board that said " Friends Don't Let Friends Shop Retail". Just when you think you cant love something more.....they go and put that outside the door of their store! I just love everything about this lovely haven of over-priced yet worth their weight and gold items!

Momentary Needs

Named after their Grandmother, Porter Grey is designed by two NY sisters with, in my opinion the perfect vision. Porter Grey defines effortless beauty and is self described as "quietly confident while not relying on momentary needs". I cant decide if I am more obsessed with the clothes, the angelically (is that word?) model, or the scene that these photos set. I want every part of this girl's life....so apparently they pictures did exactly what they are supposed to do... sell me these clothes!! I am pretty sure if I wore these clothes I would live where it is this girl lives and frolic barefoot with the perfect blonde hair all the time. Don't you think?

Dont Ask Me to Park Your Car

Do you remember in almost all of the 80s and early 90s movies the valets attendants wore super bright short red jackets?? I am pretty sure this red is exactly the same as those valet coats, however unlike those heinous red penguin coats I am obsessed with this statement piece by Elizabeth and James. At first thought that this would not be worth the money because how many times can you really wear a red blazer?? But I changed my mind. I think if I purchased this little number I would rock it constantly and let it be my "it" piece for a few months. Lately, clothes aren't inspiring me enough and I think this red blazer is just the burst of energy that I need!

Sh** Kicking

OK so maybe this look evokes a little bit of a Sh** Kicking feeling, but I still really like it. KaIN Label makes this super cute thin jersey tank dress and it is affordable at only $106. It can be worn a million different ways!! I like it with the boots because it dresses it down but you could definitely pull this off with a rad pair of heels as well and dress it up. I think its perfect for the fact that California feels like Arizona right now it is so hot....so I just might need this little tank dress :) Don't ya think??

I love it when expensive brands actually think about the fact that every person can not afford a $550 frock for every separate occasion.
