Hollywood Regency Meets a Palm Springs Mojito!

OK so one of my major obsessions in life is Hollywood Regency, if you don't know what the style is think Old Hollywood meets 1960 chic meets Palm Springs Gaudy! Its basically the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica. This style is running rampant right now in interior design and if you can handle the bright colors and extreme whites you will soon find yourself wanting to drape your home in black and white rugs and ridiculous amounts of white porcelain! While, perusing this decorating technique by David Jimenez I came across the pool shots and was inspired! Quickly, I found myself yearning for the feeling of 90 degree weather while on a perfect vintage Palm Springs lounge chair with a refreshing peach Mojito (haven't had one? ridiculous try it!) Since, I think I might have to stick to day dreaming about this lovely moment I thought I would post some pics from one of my favorite Mid-Century meets Hollywood Regency designers and his poolside inspirational designs. Also take a look at the Riviera Palm Springs Hotel. Can't you just picture basking in the sun at this hotel geared up with your gigantic hat & sunglasses. Love it can we go??? :)
